This really is an excellent quality adapter that will allow all old manual focus Canon FD lenses to be used on any Canon EOS camera. Compatible with all Canon EOS DSLR cameras (Please note that this adapter WILL NOT work on Canon EOS film SLRs). To use the adapter, connect it to your Canon FD lens and then attach the lens to your Canon EOS camera in the normal way. The adapter incorporates a high quality optical element that will allow infinity focusing. It also increases the focal length of FD lenses by approximately 10 - 15%.

This FD-EOS adapter also has the latest AF confirm technology. To use the auto focus confirmation function, set the AF mode on your Canon EOS camera to "One-shot". Hold the shutter release button halfway down whilst manually focusing the lens. When sharp focus is achieved your camera will beep and/or show the focus confirmation icon in the viewfinder.

Each adapter is supplied with both front and rear protective caps.

Q: Does the adapter optic reduce the image quality?
A: All adapters that use an optic degrade the image quality. However, some adapters are better than others. Some cheap adapters really are quite appalling, some are mediocre and some are very good. This adapter is very good. The centre sharpness is excellent, the edges are good and the corners exhibit some softness. We believe this adapter is one of the better adapters currently available. If it wasn't, we wouldn't sell it.
