The amazing Cullmann Suction Pod CS 33 (41033) for cameras and video cameras. An exceptionally well made suction mount for mounting cameras on vehicles. The Cullmann Suction Pod is made in Germany to the highest standards and can be used to mount cameras and equipment on virtually any smooth surface including glass, painted surfaces, vehicle bodywork, plastic and perspex. Once attached it is virtually impossible to remove it unless you release the special detach lever. Certified for use with cameras up to 3kg. The Cullmann Suction Pod CS 33 includes the fully adjustable and removable CB 3.1 ball and socket head with a very secure locking facility to enable you to position your camera perfectly. The 3/8" thread is the same as the thread on all tripods and will fit any camera with a tripod socket.
We have tried using this device ourselves and we can vouch for its performance. We produced this short video (see below) using a Canon EOS 5D MkII DSLR and our company Volvo. Even at speeds of 60mph (100kph) the vehicle mount never moved. Attaching a £3000 camera system to the outside of a moving car is certainly nerve-wracking but now we've tried it once we wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

The sections showing high speed through urban areas are a result of the original footage being speeded up during editing.
