Kood Stepping Rings from 25mm - 105mm

Jack the Hat Photographic now stock the most complete range of stepping rings in the UK. Kood stepping rings come in two types - Step Up Rings and Step Down Rings. We have them all! 

A step ring is a simple black metal ring with a different sized thread on each side. For example, if you have a collection of 58mm filters and have a lens with a 55mm filter thread, simply buy the 55-58mm step up ring. Screw the 55mm ring on to the front of your lens and then all your 58mm filters will work as normal. This doesn't just apply to filters, you can use step up and step down rings for all sorts of accessories such as lens caps, lens hoods, close up lenses and converters. You can even screw stepping rings together to make a really large change to the diameter of your lens' filter thread. Made from very high quality machined aluminium and finished in black.

Note: The first number is the size of the filter thread on your lens. e.g. a 37-46mm stepping ring will attach to a lens with a 37mm filter thread to enable it to accept filters and accessories with a 46mm thread.
