The lens shade is machined from quality alloy and is finished in stylish black with an anti-reflective inner coating. The precision machined thread on the lens hood screws directly onto the front of the Leitz Elmar 9cm f/4 lens. Included with the lens hood is a matching polycarbonate cap which snaps in place on the front of the hood. (The cap is not shown in the photos but is included).
