Wide Angle Rubber Lens Hoods

Professional quality screw-in rubber lens hood. Wide angle shape to help avoid vignetting on wide angle lenses. Anti-reflective to reduce flare. The hood can be folded back when still attached to the camera for easy access to lens caps and filters. Suitable for film, video and digital cameras. Using a lens hood will greatly reduce the risk of flare and low contrast photos.

What size do I need? We stock all popular sizes from 49mm to 77mm. These wide angle lens hoods screw directly onto the filter thread of your lens. For example, if your lens has a 58mm filter thread then you need a 58mm wide angle lens hood. Simple!

Each wide angle lens hood has a matching screw thread on the front of the hood so you can continue to use filters and your lens cap without having to remove the lens hood.

Is this hood suitable for my lens? These lens hoods work well on lenses with focal lengths of 15mm or higher on standard DSLR cameras. e.g. If you have a standard 18-55mm zoom then this hood will work well. These hoods are not recommended for ultra wide angle lenses such as the Sigma 10-20mm or the Canon 10-22mm lens etc. If you plan to use this hood on a professional full frame DSLR or a 35mm film camera then it will work well on any lens with a focal length of 24mm or longer.
